What is unit rate Labor resource Database?

NoDoC presents labor cost database yearly. The cost of various type of labors for different sections and locations (Countries) has been collected in this database. for location factors, productivity and smooth rates refer to "Location Factor" Database in this website.
The source of this database is the survey reports that are published by well known organizations and institutions. following are samples of reports and surveys that have been published by International Construction Cost and Turner & Townsend.)For comparative purpose, NoDoC uses Purchasing Power Parity Methodology which is introduced by Turner & Townsend and will be employing and developing over the coming years.
Figure 2. The cost of labour, 2013 small circles = lower cost
From Figure 2 , one can see how hourly labour costs compare in different markets around the world. As might be expected, construction operatives in the US where parts of the country are still heavily unionized, enjoy the highest hourly rates in the world, with size relating to cost (small circles = lower cost). (Source: International construction cost survey 2013, Turner & Townsend)

How to use Labor Database?

There are two methods for using this database:
1- Purchase the unit rate labor database for desired location (Country) and assign it to your project activity, consider quantity of required man-hours.
2- Purchase Location Factor database, apply productivity and unit rates to the base country productivity and rates to obtain the unit rates for the desired country and assign it to the project activity considering quantity of man-hours.
Figure 3. Sample- Tank Installation Man-Hour, Source: NodoC database
This database covers:
  1. Unit man-hour rates which the user need to estimate engineering, construction, installation and... cost by own therefore the user should have the required quantities (Man-hours) for estimation of installation cost of a material.
  2. Approximate required quantities (man-hours) for Construction and Installation of materials based on the size of the material.
See Figure 3 is a sample of required man-hours for installation of a Tank. Again please be noted that the database shows the man-hours for a base country and you should apply Location Factor to obtain man-hours for your desired location.
Also please be careful about the unit of measurement for the material.
